Valentine’s Day always seems to sneak up on me! Every.Single.Year. If you’re in the same boat, here’s a super quick + easy tutorial for a heart-shaped Valentine’s Day wreath! I’m not kidding, this little project took me less than 30 minutes to make!
All you need is:
- some heavy gauge wire (multiple strands of thinner wire twisted together would work too)
- faux flowers
- hot glue gun
Let’s get started!
Step 1 // Form your wire into a heart shape and twist off the ends.
Step 2 // Plug in your hot glue gun and while it’s heating up, unravel some moss and lay it out around your wire base.
Step 3 // Apply small amounts of hot glue directly onto the wire and carefully press the moss into the warm glue.
Step 4 // Roughly lay out where your flowers are going to go. You can go light on flowers like I did, or you can go all out – it’s totally up to you!
Step 5 // Apply plenty of hot glue to the base of the flower and press it into the moss as well as onto the wire. Repeat until you’re happy with the arrangement.
Step 6 // To give it a little extra stability, apply plenty of glue from the back. You want the flowers to be connected to the wire as much as possible.
DONE! Now go and enjoy this special day ♥
