Capturing life is so important! This new blog series called ‘Monthly‘ encourages me to snap everyday photos and share each month with 9 photographs.
Once the leaves start changing, I feel time starts to fly extra fast! Blink your eye once and it’s already Halloween!! This month was mainly filled with working on and finishing the nursery. Oh, and road trips! We visited lots of charming places and enjoyed the beautiful North Eastern fall foliage.
On a different note, October 30th marked the day we arrived in our home. I vividly remember the first evening, not being able to turn on the heater and trying to keep warm. On one hand it seems like a lifetime ago, and yet on the other hand, it feels like it’s been just yesterday. So much has happened in those last twelve months. The house is looking better than ever and we got a majority of projects done. This journey has truly changed us in so many good ways. It’s taught us a lot about ourselves individually and as a couple. It has made us stronger and more resilient. It’s been the best decision we have ever made – other than getting married 😉
But now, let’s get into the month of October!
1 / The nursery is almost finished – thanks to the One Room Challenge! 2 / Cannot believe that it’s been a full YEAR since we arrived here!! But then I just look at the house – inside and out – and I’m amazed at all the progress! 3 / Still in awe with our DIY nursery mobile! Just love that we chose a more grown up color scheme for this room 🙂
4 / The gallery wall in the nursery is probably my favorite piece all over the house! It’s inspired me to (finally) tackle the dining room gallery wall I’ve been meaning to create. Next month! 5 / We’ve been keeping up with taking weekly baby bump pictures and believe it or not, Halloween marks the first day of the third trimester! It’s just nuts how quickly time is zooming by – and this cute little belly is a constant reminder for what is soon to come! 6 / New England really is SO picture perfect!
7 / Supposedly the fall foliage has been rather mediocre this year, but we still enjoyed the gorgeously colored trees! 8 / Remember the pink wall in the old crafts room? It’s a stylish changing area now!! 9 / Indoors Fall has made its mark as well. I just love how the warm orange colors pop on the floating credenza in the dining room!
