Winter has come and we can’t get enough of the snow in beautiful New England! Since the leaves are gone and we have a full view of the property, I thought I’d take you outside with me to look at the exterior of our little winter house. Bundle up and follow me 🙂
Remember how we painted the barn (links to part 1, part 2, part 3 of the blog series)? The dark grey color looks so pretty and may I say, quite luxurious against the white clapboard exterior of the old main house and the large middle section. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out – despite some critical comments during the decision making process, that going dark might be a bad idea LOL
For a little winter cheer, I decorated this large wreath I found at Michael’s. It’s matching the front door wreath with pine cones, silver ornaments, straw stars and dried oranges.
I specifically kept it more neutral versus going all Christmas-y, so I can leave it up until it’s time for some pretty spring flowers.
