I purchased this (what I refer to as a table umbrella) because the recently purchased cantilever type has a base that impinges quite a bit on the seating around a 4ft. table. Since the base for this type is under the table it is much more accommodating to a table arrangement. The cantilever is great for over a bench or side by side seating. I wish the cantilever type also had the capability to swing somewhat as I have a swing on a frame and you cannot get the umbrella over the swing.
We have only had this beautiful umbrella for a few weeks and have already noticed that we are sitting outside and enjoying our backyard more. Our previous umbrella was not made to last and ended up rotting and cracking after only a few years, but this one is so much sturdier and even locks into tilted positions with out any real worry of it tipping over. The canopy is such a nice deep blue that look amazing next to our pool and the one time it rained on us the water was just beading off the umbrella and pretty much saved the dinner that we had worked so hard to make. Over all we love this umbrella and plan to have it for many years to come.
Sturdy easy to assemble! The umbrella handles the wind very well
I purchased one and it was exactly what I wanted. Well-made, easy to assemble, and the material is very nice. It comes with tabs on all spokes for hanging lights. It also has a Velcro Closure, which I like much better than the standard tie closure. I ended up purchasing a second one.
I really like this umbrella. The winding mechanisms works great. The velcro connectors are helpful. The color is very nice. The material seems sturdy and dependable.One thing is that it only has one wind vent (unlike the picture with two, tiered wind vents), and I hope that it will hold up during that summer breeze (makes me feel fine), although I do have a heavy granite base stand. So far, so good.

Compatible weighted bases are sold separately. Weighted bases are necessary to provide stability and safety.
We recommend purchasing a set of umbrella and base, and in this way you'll get a higher discount.
How should I choose a good base?
- Bluu Market Umbrella is compatible with the HDPE Weight Base (max. 88lbs) and Iron Base (25.6 lbs).
- Iron Base is recommended for use with patio umbrella tables to maximize the space under the table.
- The HDPE Weight Base provides enough weight at all times and is more stable than Iron Base. We recommend this base in windy areas.
Can I buy the umbrella canopy separately?
Sorry, we do not sell umbrella canopies separately.
However,we are proud to offer you an extended canopy fabric warranty, which covers all fabrics we use.
As for Outtra fabric Bluu developed, we offer a 5-year limited warranty guarantee against color fading from normal exposure conditions.

Yes, you can easily replace the canopy if needed.

What is the weight of the base?

What is the percentage of sand and water used to fill the base?
First, you should fill the base with sand, which obviously has a higher density than water, until the base is almost fulfilled.
Then we add as much water as possible to fill the tiny gaps between sand grains.
How much wind can market umbrella take?
Bluu patio umbrellas are able to withstand strong winds of level 8 with our bases fulfilled according to lab data.
However, we do recommend you close the umbrella when the wind speed reaches 10.8~18.5m/s in a real world,
because the real-world environment is more complicated than in a lab.
